Fun in the Sun

This is especially for all of you who are enduring the cold, seemingly endless, winter.  Brian hardly ever put the camera (a small Sony Handycam) down while we were away in Punta Cana a couple of weeks ago, it was so hard not to constantly film in such a beautiful location.  I know he wished he had brought one of the bigger cameras, but this was a FAMILY VACATION, we were there to relax, not to 'work'! lol  Enjoy a few minutes of warmth with us at the beach.

Behind the Scenes Still Motion Workshop

This is a short demo put together by the attendees at the Still Motion workshop this week.  Brian thoroughly enjoyed these 3 days and met some amazing colleagues from around the world who share our passion for creating dynamic, cinematic wedding films.  

We can't wait to start putting into practice many of the new skills and ideas he gained from the entire 'evolution' experience.  Thanks again Patrick, Michael, Konrad and of course Jaime, Amina and Jessica, for everything!

An Awesome Opportunity

Brian is away at the Still Motion Cinematography 3-Day Workshop in Mississauga, learning from some of the world's very best cinematographers / film makers.  I am so excited for this opportunity for him and for our business.  To all our brides of 2009 and beyond, know that these 3 days will forever change the way we capture and edit our own wedding films.  We look forward to shooting your wedding day and creating a wonderful, cinematic film for you to cherish.  

Brian even made it into some of the photos they've published on their blog of this exciting workshop. Thanks to Amina for posting them, I actually feel like I'm kind of there too, lol.  For those of you who aren't familiar with Still Motion I encourage you to watch some of their amazing work, it's truly beautiful and what really inspired us to do what we do.

Happy 2009 ! Home from vacation...

We just returned from a week in Punta Cana, DR.  We wanted to relax and recharge our batteries for our upcoming year of weddings and events which will no doubt be very busy. Brian and I woke every morning to watch the sunrise, what a gorgeous way to start the day!  Here are a few of my favourite photos from our trip, to see more visit us on Facebook - Carpenter Creations - Cinematic Wedding Films + Photography.  The Ocean Sand Resort would be the perfect destination wedding location, we scouted out many amazing locations for photos and video while we were there.
